In September 2014 I did some filming up in the Scottish highlands with some friends. It was the first time I had been to that part of Scotland and it made quite an impression on me. Some of the scenery there was staggeringly beautiful and I promised to myself during that visit that I would come back one day in the future.
Well in the Autumn of 2016, my girlfriend Angie and I decided to do a road trip to Scotland. We visited Edinburgh for a couple of days (stopping off for a night in Harrogate on the way up), then drove across the Forth Bridge and on up to Pitlochry in Perthshire for a few days to stay with some of Angie's friends. Then we headed southwest, following Loch Tay along its edge, ending up at Tarbet on Loch Lomond, where we stayed for two days. The final leg of the journey was to head back over the border to Northumberland, to visit some of my family before heading back down to London.
